The God-Given "Gift" and the Four Types of People There was a Father in heaven who deeply loved every child He had created with His own hands. He prepared for all humanity the most precious "Gift", and this “Gift” is the grace that brings hope, forgiveness, and new life. Yet when faced with the same "Gift," four different types of people made completely different choices. Some accepted it long ago and treasured it throughout their lives, never letting go even when storms came; some once accepted it but gradually forgot it amid busyness, temptation, and indifference, allowing this precious grace to become covered with dust; some never accepted it at first, until the Father sent His own Son to come to them personally, and only then did they finally realize that what they had been searching for all their lives was this "Gift" from heaven; and some continued to reject it, choosing not to accept it even though the Father kept waiting and the Son knocked on the door again and again. Each person has his or her own choice: some treasure grace, some take grace lightly, some are awakened by love, and some remain stubbornly resistant until the very end. Yet the Father's heart has never changed. He calls out again and again because He is unwilling for even one of His children to be lost. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." — Ephesians 2:8.
